Winter Youth Hitting

This hitting clinic series will be led by Russell Sage Baseball Head Coach, Matt Marsh and his staff. Our hitting program will lead to enhanced ability as a hitter including feel for hit, bat speed development, managing of the strike zone and developing the mechanics of the swing. 

Coach Marsh spent the last 8 years coaching at the college level as an assistant coach and hitting coach. Most recently he was the hitting coach at Hendrix College in Arkansas where the Warriors set the school record for runs scored in 2024 and hit over .300 as a team in 2025 and were 3rd in school history in doubles. Prior to Hendrix, Coach Marsh spent 6 years at the D1 Level at George Mason (2023 A-10 Champs and Regional Final), UMBC and Maine. Coach Marsh has coached 25 professional players and 3 current MLB players in his tenure as a college coach. Prior to coaching at the collegiate level, Coach Marsh ran a Travel Baseball program for three years where over 150 of the players ended up in college baseball and coached at Ward Melville HS.
