Winter Youth Pitching
This pitching clinic series will be led by Russell Sage Baseball Pitching Coach/Recruiting Coordinator Matt McGowan. Our pitching program will focus on developing command, repeatability within the delivery, becoming an athletic mover that harnesses individuality, understanding pitch arsenal and training like a collegiate pitcher. Participants will also use Rapsodo pitch tracking as a means to understand their stuff and how to best use it.
Coach McGowan has made an incredible impact on the Sage Gators pitching staff. He led the Gators Pitching Staff to the best ever season on the mound in 2025. After starting his career at Siena College, Coach McGowan finished his college playing career at SUNY Brockport where he was a part of multiple NCAA regional teams and was a starting pitcher.
